Mindful suffering in a natural setting
Last year, one of my students turned in an essay that really summed up my feelings about the outdoors. "I think it's very important that we all take some time out of our busy schedules to commiserate with nature,'' he said.
hi Lola --- actually, I don't have a big problem with 'natural' rodents in their natural setting. I just hate Rattus Norwegicus (Norway rats) because they are mean, nasty, non-native invasives. Fortunately, I haven't seen one since leaving NYC.

Is this the rodent-free nature that you're suggesting a commune with?
